CMIT worked diligently to make sure everything worked as we needed to and took the time to teach us how to use the equipment. They were very responsive when we had questions or needed them to come out to do work on site.

What I help you with
From stopping ransomware to moving you off systems nobody supports anymore — the full stack of IT, delivered by the owner of your local CMIT Solutions territory. Explore each service below.

Managed IT Services
Proactive monitoring, patching, and device care from a local Austin team — problems handled before they slow you down.

Cybersecurity
Layered defense — EDR, MFA, email security — plus MDR with 24/7 human eyes on your network.

Managed AI
Adopt AI safely: readiness reviews, approved tools, usage policies, and training — productivity without data leaks.

IT Support
Real people, fast answers. Remote and on-site help from Austin techs who know your business — no phone trees.

Cloud Services
Migration, hosting, file sharing, and identity management — scale up without buying another server.

Network Support
Network design, firewall and Wi-Fi management, and VPN access — a fast, secure network that stays up.

Productivity Apps
Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace done right — setup, migration, licensing, and training for your team.

Compliance
HIPAA, PCI DSS, NIST, and CMMC made manageable — assessments, controls, training, and audit-ready documentation.

Backup & Recovery
Encrypted, image-based backups tested monthly — so a crash, mistake, or ransomware never becomes a lost business.

Unified Comms
VoIP, video, and messaging unified on secure platforms — one connected system for office, home, and everywhere between.

IT Guidance
Fractional CIO and CISO leadership — technology roadmaps, budgets, and risk plans without the executive salary.

IT Procurement
The right hardware and software the first time — sourcing, licensing, setup, and lifecycle tracking handled for you.
The difference
Go to any networking event in this town and you’ll meet an IT guy. He’s usually one person — great until you need to grow. The firms that can scale price themselves out of reach. I’m the middle: a local owner with a national company behind him.
Not a salesperson working a quota. I own this territory, I answer the phone, and I’m accountable for what gets recommended.
CMIT Solutions buys for roughly 160,000 computers. The volume discount on tools like SentinelOne comes straight through to you.
I read your network, then I read your business. The recommendation comes from matching both, not from a catalog.
I take on companies at ten or twelve computers and stay with them past forty. Your setup is built for the size you’re heading toward.
Who I work with
When somebody else is already asking you for proof — an auditor, a client, a regulator — the conversation gets easier. You know why the security matters, and I know what the paperwork has to look like.
You are held to the IRS cybersecurity guidelines whether or not anyone audits you this year. I build to them.
The most demanding ground there is. I am HIPAA compliant and so is every vendor I use, so I can sign the agreements your practice needs.
Firms already know they have to be protected. What they usually need is someone to prove it and keep it that way.
Texas asks more of its vendors every year. If you sell to the state — marketing, construction, services — the requirements land on you.
Your own regulators set the floor. My job is to clear it without turning your team’s day into a security exercise.
My largest accounts today are in manufacturing and marketing. Regulation helps, but it is not a requirement to work together.
Is this a fit?
But some of my favourite clients started at ten or twelve and grew. If you are on the way up, come in early — it is far cheaper to build it right than to untangle it at forty seats.
One exception
Operational military contracts require cleared, US-citizen personnel, so I do not take that work. If that is your world, I will tell you straight away rather than waste your time.
